Online (simple) monitoring of
measurements via a serial RS232 port in a PC, displaying beat-to-beat
data, the pressure waveform, the height correction signal. |
 |
Transfer of data files stored on
internal memory to the PC. The data file consists of the pressure
waveform, the height correction signal and status information.
Beat-to-beat data are not stored, but are available after a separate
off-line beat analysis. |
 |
Conversion of data files to text
files or standard binary files enabling the use of other software to
further analyse the pressure waveform. |
 |
Options to view and print data
files, binary files and text files. |
 |
Calculation of descriptive
statistics (mean, standard deviation, maximum and minimum value,
median). |
 |
Online advanced blood pressure and
cardiac output monitoring of measurements with the Modelflow method
via a serial RS232 connection. The beat-analysis software generates
the following data for each beat: The instant of upstroke, systolic,
diastolic and mean blood pressure, heart rate, interbeat interval,
stroke volume, cardiac output, ventricular ejection time, peripheral
resistance, aortic characteristic impedance and aortic compliance.
Beat-to-beat data and the continuous pressure waveform are saved in
files on disk. |
 |
Off-line beat-to-beat analysis,
similar to the on-line analysis described above, of data files
containing a sampled arterial pressure waveform. The following
arterial pressure sites are supported: aorta, femoral artery, temporal
artery, brachialartery, radial artery and finger artery. The software
automatically recognizes the interruptions in the finger arterial
pressure waveform, due to physiological calibrations (Physiocal) in
Portapres, Finometer and Finapres recordings. |
 |
The beat analysis software enables
the application of filters that correct for pressure wave distortion
when arterial pressure is obtained in a peripheral site such as a
finger artery or the radial artery. |
